Schaeffer vs. John Doe, Esquire (fictitious name)

Driver was injured in collision with electric company truck. Accident was fault of company. Electric company sued Driver for property damage. His lawyer did not make sure case was properly defended, intending to dispute fault in his injury suit. Property damage case was lost. Because no defense was made, driver was barred by law from bringing later suit for severe injuries. Legal malpractice claim was filed against attorneys for allowing rights to be lost and claim barred.
